Bieber, these guys know what they’re talking about
In recent months (most of 2013, actually) I have gleefully written about how fans, former fans and the general public are rallying against Justin Bieber. But now that it is music royalty, it tickles my belly even more.
There’s a part of me that wants to interview celebs and just ask them for their thoughts on Biebs but I can do without the death threats from his crazed screaming fans.
Back to the point: Jon Bon Jovi had some choice words for teenybopper thug Bieber. It’s been no secret that the public is revolting on the Canadian cutie. Bieber is booed, has things thrown at him and is a general menace throughout his California neighbourhood and when he’s on tour.
Long story short: Bon Jovi called him an A-hole. That’s right, you read me. Bon Jovi said, “Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.
“Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool – you’re an a-hole. Go to BLEEPin’ work!”
Whether or not you like Bon Jovi, you have to admit that he must know the music biz since he’s had decades of success.
And former heartthrob Mark Wahlberg, of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch fame, chimed in saying of Bieber, “Be a nice boy, pull your trousers up, make your mum proud, yeah? Stop smoking all that weed, you little bastard. This career can be short-lived. You might as well be the best you can while you’re doing it, while you’re in the game. And after, if you want to go ‘F’ off, do that.”
But unlike Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston – sadly for them it is too late – it’s shocking how Bieber isn’t fazed by the lives of Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.
Then again, teenage boys are unstoppable, right?. We’ll see, won’t we? We’ll see.
